SeasonOfYear is the class of four seasons correlated with the calendar Year and associated with changes in the length of daylight and with overall temperature changes. Depending upon the GeographicArea, a SeasonOfYear may also be associated with weather patterns (e.g., rainy, dry, windy). The characteristics of seasons (cold vs. hot temperatures, long vs. short days) are reversed from the NorthernHemisphere to the SouthernHemisphere.
