Transformer

A Transducer for which the ratio of across variables and through variables respectively is equal.

Parents	Transducer	A Device which is capable of converting one form of energy into another. Formally, a Twoport that neither stores nor dissipates, but only transfers energy between its two ports.
Children	ElectricalTransformer	A Device for converting one measure of Volts to another. Two coils of wire are inductively coupled around a common core. The ratio of the number of windings in each coil is same as the ratio of the resulting voltages.
