The HidatsaLanguage is a MissouriValleyLanguage of the UnitedStates. SIL code: HID. ISO 639-2: sio. Population: 100 fluent speakers, 25-50 semi-fluent speakers, out of 1,200 population (1986 SIL). The 1990 census reports 451 speakers including 6 monolinguals. Region: Fort Berthold Reservation, North Dakota. Alternate names: MINITARI, HIRACA, HINATSA. Comments: Close to Crow.
