The CamthoLanguage is a ZuluBantuMixedLanguage of SouthAfrica. SIL code: CMT. ISO 639-2: mis. Population: No estimate available. Region: Soweto, Johannesburg, urban settings. Alternate names: ISICAMTHO, ISCAMTHO. Comments: A development in the 1980s from the original Tsotsitaal, and sometimes called 'Tsotsitaal'. Also described as a basically Zulu or Sotho language with heavy codeswitching and a lot of English and Afrikaans content morphemes. Mainly used by young people.
