The ParsiDariLanguage is a CentralIranianLanguage of Iran. SIL code: PRD. ISO 639-2: ira. Population total both countries: 350,000 or more. Region: Also spoken in Afghanistan. Alternate names: PARSEE-DARI. Comments: Parsi-Dari is reported to not be inherently intelligible with Parsi of India, Pakistan, and other countries, but linguistically and ethnically related. Separated 600 to 700 years ago or more from that. It is related to Dari [GBZ]. Many are reported to not speak other languages well. 'Parsee' is the name of the ethnic group.
