MaritimeShelfArea
MaritimeShelfArea is a subclass of MaritimeClaimArea that covers SubmergedLandAreas claimed by an adjacent geopolitical area. The LawOfTheSea defines the continental shelf as extending up to 200 miles (NM) offshore and including the resources found therein. The defined claim area does not correspond exactly to a geological ContinentalShelf, but if there is one, the two areas will overlap spatially.
