Alternate names: WESTERN TLAPANEC, ME'PHAA. Dialects: ACATEPEC, ZAPOTITLAN TABLAS, PLATANILLO. Comments: 83% intelligibility of Malinaltepec, 79% of Tlacoapa. Many bilingual school teachers from Malinaltepec. Primary schools in most villages, secondary schools in major centers. Investigation needed: intelligibility with dialects. Mountain slope.
