ClimateZone
&ClimateZone is a subclass of Attribute used by the BinaryPredicate climateTypeInArea to classify a &GeographicArea according to its long-term weather conditions. The subclasses of ClimateZone are based on the Koeppen Climate Classification system. In the Koeppen system, climate zones are distinguished based on temperatures and rainfall.

Children AridClimateZoneAridClimateZone is the class of regions in which the climate is characterized by a distinct dry season. Annual rate of moisture evaporation exceeds annual rate of precipitation. This is Class B in the Koeppen climate system.
 ColdClimateZoneColdClimateZone is the subclass of ClimateZone that is characterized by a warmest month with average temperature less than 10 degrees Celsius and a coldest month with average temperature less than -3 degrees Celsius. This is Koeppen climate system Type D.
 MidlatitudeContinentalClimateZoneMidlatitudeContinentalClimateZone is a subclass of TemperateClimateZone that is characterized by cool winters and hot summers.
 PolarClimateZonePolarClimateZone is a subclass of ClimateZone characterized by having an average temperature less than 10 degrees Celsius in the warmest month. This is Koeppen climate system Type E. No agriculture is supported in polar climates.
 SemiaridClimateZone
 TemperateClimateZoneTemperateClimateZone is the subclass of ClimateZone which the coldest month averaging between 18 degrees and -3 degrees Celsius, and at least one month averaging above 10 degrees Celsius. This is Class C in the Koeppen climate system.
 TropicalClimateZoneTropicalClimateZone is a subclass of ClimateZone in which the average temperature of the coldest month is greater than 18 degrees Celsius. This is Class 'A' in the Koeppen climate classification system.
