可赎回的债券 | A bond which the issuer has the right to redeem prior to its maturity date, under certain conditions. |
| 公司债券 | A bond issued by a corporation. Such bonds usually have a par value of $1,000, are taxable, have a term maturity, are paid for out of a sinking fund accumulated for that purpose, and are traded on major exchanges. |
| 优惠券债券 | An unregistered, negotiable bond on which interest and principal are payable to the holder, regardless of whom it was originally issued to. The coupons are attached to the bond, and each coupon represents a single interest payment. The holder submits a coupon, usually semi-annually, to the issuer or paying agent to receive payment. Coupon bonds are being phased out in favor of registered bonds. |

| 国债 | A negotiable, coupon-bearing debt obligation issued by the U.S. government and backed by its full faith and credit, having a maturity of more than 7 years. Interest is paid semi-annually. Exempt from state and local taxes. |
| 零息债券 | A bond in which no periodic coupon is paid over the life of the contract. Instead, both the principal and the interest are paid at the maturity date. |
