The ChakchiquelQuicheLanguage is a ChakchiquelQuicheMixedLanguage of Guatemala. SIL code: CKZ. ISO 639-2: mis. Population 2,000 (1998 SIL). Region: Santiago, Sacatepaquez, Santa Maria Cauque aldea. Alternate names: CAUQUE MIXED LANGUAGE. Comments: Speakers came from the Quiche area in the colonial period. Older speakers show a base of Quiche. Speakers are fully bilingual in South Central Cakchiquel and becoming bilingual in Spanish. 30 and above.
