The ZuniLanguage is a language isolate spoken in the UnitedStates. SIL code: ZUN. ISO 639-2: zun. Population: 6,413 speakers (1980 census). Region: New Mexico, south of Gallup. Alternate names: ZUNI. Comments: Includes 31 monolinguals (1980). Speakers were 85.5% of the population below 18 years of age, 6.2% above 18 (1980). Children are being raised speaking the language (1998). Vigorous.
