defined contribution plan
A company retirement plan, such as a 401(k) or 403(b), in which the employee elects to defer some amount of his/her salary into the plan and bears the investment risk.
Relationships      
Parents pension plan A qualified retirement plan set up by a corporation, labor union, government, or other organization for its employees. Examples include profit-sharing plans, stock bonus and employee stock ownership plans, thrift plans, target benefit plans, money purchase plans, and defined benefit plans.
Children SARSEP plan
 SavingsPlan_401KA defined contribution plan offered by a corporation to its employees, which allows employees to set aside tax-deferred income for retirement purposes. The name 401(k) comes from the IRS section describing the program.
 SavingsPlan_403BA retirement plan similar to a 401(k) plan, but one which is offered by non-profit organizations, such as universities and some charitable organizations, rather than corporations.
